Quick answer: You can download our ringtones for free and use them on your own phones and devices as ringtones, alarms and notification sounds. You may not re-upload, sell or share the files on other websites or apps. Some tones have open licences that allow more, as shown on each tone page.

What can I do with the ringtones?

Unless a tone page shows a different licence, you may:

• download any tone for free,
• use it as a ringtone, alarm, message tone or notification sound on your own phones, tablets, watches and computers, and
• share a link to the tone page with friends.

What can't I do with the ringtones?

Unless a tone's licence allows it, you may not:

• re-upload the audio files to another website, app, ringtone service or file-sharing platform,
• sell, rent or license the tones to anyone else,
• use the tones in videos, ads, games, apps or other products,
• claim the tones as your own work, or
• download tones in bulk using automated tools.

Tones with open licences

Some tones are released under CC0 (public domain) or CC BY. For those tones, the licence shown on the tone page applies, and it may allow more than these terms. CC BY tones require you to credit the creator as shown on the page.

Who owns the content?

Original and commissioned tones, the site design, text, guides and code belong to RingtoneDownload.org. Open-licence tones belong to their creators and are shared under their licences. Licensed tones are used with permission from their owners.

Copyright reports

We respect the rights of creators. If you believe a tone infringes your copyright, please follow the steps on our DMCA page.

Use of the site

Please do not try to harm the site, overload it, scrape it in bulk or get around any security features.

No warranty

The site and all tones are provided "as is". We work hard to keep everything accurate and working, but we cannot promise the site will always be available or free of errors, or that every tone will work on every device.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, RingtoneDownload.org is not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or the tones.

Links to other sites

Our pages may link to other websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.
