Quick answer: We collect very little. There are no accounts and no sign-up. Your favourites and light or dark mode choice are saved only in your own browser. Our hosting provider keeps basic technical logs to run and protect the site.

This policy explains what information RingtoneDownload.org ("we", "us") collects when you use https://ringtonedownload.org, and how we use it.

What information do we collect?

Information you give us. If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to handle your request.

Information stored on your device. The site uses your browser's local storage, not cookies, to remember:

• the ringtones you save to Favourites (the heart button), and
• whether you chose light or dark mode.

This data stays in your browser. It is never sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Technical data. Like every website, our servers receive basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time. Our site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes this data to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Do we use cookies or analytics?

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we use website analytics, we use a privacy-friendly, cookie-free tool that counts visits without identifying you. If we ever add advertising or new tools that use cookies, we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent first.

How do we use information?

We use information only to:

• run the site and deliver ringtone downloads,
• keep the site safe and fix problems,
• understand which pages and tones are popular, in total, and
• reply to your messages and copyright reports.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Who do we share information with?

We share data only with services that help us run the site, such as our hosting and email providers, and only as needed for that purpose. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

How long do we keep it?

We keep emails for as long as needed to handle your request, and copyright reports for as long as needed for legal records. Technical logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited time under its own policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to correct it or to have it deleted. To make a request, email contact@ringtonedownload.org. We will reply within 30 days.

Children

This site is for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
